Early Life and Background
Young Clntn was born in Cross River State, Nigeria, and grew up in Boki, a rural community within the state. He was raised in a family of five, with his mother working as a farmer and his father serving as an Air Force personnel. Although the family was not wealthy, they lived comfortably and emphasised values such as love, contentment, and resilience.
His early exposure to music came through his father, who was a lover of music and frequently listened to artists such as 2Pac, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, and Fela Kuti. This environment played a significant role in shaping his musical taste and creativity.
Young Clntn attended the University of Calabar, where he studied Education (Social Studies/Civic Education). During his early years, he was actively involved in church music, serving as both a drummer and A chorister, which helped develop his musical skills.

Young Clntn discovered his interest in music in 2018, the same year he began his professional journey as an artist. However, he fully committed to music as a career in 2023 after being inspired by talented peers.
